This page documents the complete end-user opt-in consent flow used by AI Realtor Agent, LLC (operating as AI Realtor Agent) for its A2P SMS messaging campaign. All methods below require explicit, affirmative consent before any SMS message is sent.
When a real estate lead submits a contact or property inquiry form on the agent's website, they are presented with an unchecked, optional SMS consent checkbox immediately above the submit button. The checkbox must be actively checked by the user before submission is accepted.
Below is a representative mockup of the consent experience shown to end users:
Mockup of web form consent experience. Checkbox is unchecked by default and must be actively selected by the user.
When a prospect calls the agent's Twilio-powered business number and the agent is unavailable, an AI voice assistant answers. The following consent flow occurs before any SMS is sent:
The AI greets the caller and identifies the agent's business.
The caller voluntarily shares their name and inquiry details.
Before any message is sent, the AI explicitly asks for consent:
Only after an affirmative verbal response ("yes," "sure," "okay," etc.) is the SMS follow-up triggered. If the caller declines or does not confirm, no SMS is sent.
Call timestamp, phone number, and consent confirmation are logged automatically in the agent's CRM (Google Sheets) for record-keeping.
All SMS messages sent through this program include the following elements:
Initial follow-up message:
"Hi [Name], this is [Agent] with [Brokerage] — thanks for your call! I'd love to help you with your real estate needs. When's a good time to connect? Reply STOP to opt out."
Appointment confirmation:
"Hi [Name], your showing with [Agent] is confirmed for [Date] at [Time]. Reply STOP to opt out of messages."
Nurture follow-up:
"Hi [Name], still thinking about buying or selling in KC? I'm here when you're ready. — [Agent] | Reply STOP to opt out."
STOP keyword processing is handled automatically by Twilio's Advanced Opt-Out system. When a recipient replies STOP (or any standard opt-out keyword), all future messages to that number are immediately blocked. Opt-out records are maintained indefinitely and cannot be overridden without the user sending START.
Phone numbers and consent records are stored securely and are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
